ECOLE DU VIN DE BORDEAUX:
Tasting Course

An introductory course on Bordeaux wines bye the Ecole du Vin, presenting the vineyards, winemaking and blending methods. Tasting of 4 wines (2 reds, 1 dry white, 1 sweet white).

Period of visit : From monday to saturday (except on thursday) from june 2nd to september 30th.

ITINERARY CHARTRONS:
Old wine merchant's district

In English & French, walking tour in the wine merchant's district with wine tasting.

The Chartons district is the former heart of the Bordeaux wine trade and the city's port activity. During the latter part of the 18th century, rich merchants built sumptuous town houses of which many remain to this day. Visit and tasting at the Wine Trading Museum.

SAINT EMILION, a world heritage site


FULL DAY / A long day excursion to one the world's most famous vineyard regions, listed as a world heritage site. Tour and tasting at a classified growth (Château Clos Fourtet or Beau-Séjour Bécot), Winegrower's lunch, and visit of the medieval village.

Period of visit : From May 18th to October 26th (except June 1rst), every Mondays, from 9:15 am to 5:30 pm

Croiseur Colbert (Colbert Cruiser)

This War Ship was built in 1959 and after a successful career became a 10,000-ton museum in 1993. A two-hour tour gives almost unlimited access to this stately cruiser, allowing visitors to see the Admiral's quarters, the infirmary, engine-rooms, kitchens, and much more. Esplanade des Quinconces (Quinconces Square)

At 150,696 square yards, this is Europe's  largest Square. Built in 1827 to celebrate the city's growing presence in navigation and commerce. Marked by marble statues and the renowned Monument to the Girodins, this is the site of festivals in March and October.  


Grosse Cloche (Great Bell Gate)

Monument aux Girondins (Girondins Monument)

Place de la Victoire (Victory Square)

Place du Parlement (Parliament Square)
